The Global Youth Assembly on AI & Sustainability
We are inviting schools and universities everywhere to take part in a global assembly of young people. Delegates put forward by their institutions will meet each month with peers across countries and the people shaping AI and education. Together they will shape and write a Youth Declaration on AI and Sustainable Development, to be signed at a global summit in 2027.

If education is to remain deeply human in an age of powerful machines, the people with the most at stake must help design it. The Youth Assembly brings students and early-career practitioners into the consortium's work as full participants.

Every month, one theme. Interrogate the assumptions behind AI in education: who it serves, what it measures, what it quietly erases, alongside the people building and studying these systems.
02 / Exchange
Exchange
Partner institutions send delegates who meet across countries and disciplines, sharing what learning actually feels like on the ground, from Karachi to Cambridge.
03 / Declare
Declare
Each session closes with a short statement in the Assembly's own words. Season by season, the statements become the Youth Declaration on AI & Sustainable Development.
Two seasons. One Declaration.
The Assembly meets once every month, online, across time zones.
Season One · Sept to Dec 2026
Four sessions, four themes. December's global session gathers the monthly statements into the Interim Youth Statement.
Jan 2027 · Nairobi
The Interim Statement is carried to the UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development.
Season Two · Feb to May 2027
Four further sessions turn convictions into commitments, the articles of the final Declaration.
2027 · The Signing
Delegates from every region gather to sign the Youth Declaration at a culminating event, to be announced.
